San Antonio Station is an Amtrak railroad station in downtown San Antonio, Texas, designed by architect Daniel J. Patterson in Mission Revival style and completed in 1998. Located on the eastern edge of the city's downtown, it serves as a major transportation hub for two long-distance Amtrak routes: the tri-weekly Sunset Limited and the daily Texas Eagle. The station functions as the southern terminus of the Texas Eagle four days a week, with service originating in Chicago; three days a week, the Texas Eagle continues westbound to Los Angeles in conjunction with the Sunset Limited. As the second busiest Amtrak station in Texas, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
