San Nicolò l'Arena is a Sicilian Baroque church and monastery in Catania, built beginning in 1687. The church, whose facade overlooks Piazza Dante, stands adjacent to one of the city's most substantial Benedictine monasteries, together forming a monumental religious complex that reflects the architectural ambitions of late seventeenth-century Sicily.
