Built in 1905 and located at 200 E. Deming in Roswell, New Mexico, the Saunders-Crosby House is a Queen Anne style residence notable for its distinctive hexagonal features, including a two-story hexagonal cupola and matching hexagonal porch—unusual elements for the style. Victorian gingerbread trim adorns all eaves, adding to the ornamental character typical of the period. The house was purchased in 1907 to recruit banker H.P. Saunders to relocate from Dallas, Texas. The property passed to the family's daughter, Ruby Saunders Crosby, who served with the Red Cross during World War I and donated the house to the American National Red Cross in 1965. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
