The School Street School is a historic Georgian Revival brick schoolhouse located at School and Fruit Streets in Taunton, Massachusetts, designed by architect Gustavus L. Smith and constructed in 1896–97. A two-story building with a hip roof, it exhibits characteristic Georgian Revival detailing in its windows and corner quoins, matching the architectural vocabulary of two companion Smith-designed schools in the city, Leonard School and Washington School. The building held particular significance as the only school in Taunton to offer instruction in Portuguese, serving the city's substantial Portuguese immigrant community. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 5, 1984.
