The Tomb of Shaykh Haydar, located in Meshginshahr, Iran, is a tower mausoleum standing 18.5 meters tall that bridges two major Islamic architectural traditions. First constructed in the 14th century during the Ilkhanid era, the structure was later repurposed as a mausoleum for Shaykh Haydar, father of Shah Ismail I, incorporating Safavid architectural elements in its subsequent phases. Built from brick, stone, and mortar, enhanced with decorative tilework and gold details, the monument exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of medieval Persian architecture and is designated as an Iranian national heritage site.
