Located in Pishva, Tehran Province, this 21-meter-tall mausoleum and pilgrimage shrine honors Ja'far ibn Musa al-Kadhim, son of the seventh Shia Imam. Built and refined across three major Persian dynasties—the Buyid, Safavid, and Qajar periods—the tower exemplifies the evolution of Iranian religious architecture over centuries. Constructed from brick and mortar, its walls showcase the intricate decorative aina-kari (mirror work) and tilework characteristic of Persian shrine design. The structure has been recognized as part of Iran's National Heritage, drawing Shia Muslim pilgrims year-round, particularly during significant religious observances.
