Sitamarhi Cave is an Indian rock-cut grotto located 20 kilometers southwest of Rajgir in the Maurya Empire period. Hewn from a massive hemispherical granite boulder, the artificial cave measures 4.91 by 3.43 meters with a ceiling height of 2.01 meters, making it smaller than the nearby Barabar caves, which it otherwise resembles in structure and Mauryan polished finish. Like the Barabar caves, it features a trapezoidal entrance, though it lacks the inscriptions found elsewhere. The cave is sometimes grouped with Son Bhandar Caves as part of the broader "Rajgir group" of rock-cut monuments.
