Vlorë Castle, also known as Skela Castle, was a major Ottoman military fortress built in 1537 during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent in the Albanian coastal city of Vlorë. As one of the largest military structures of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans, it held exceptional strategic importance for Ottoman control of the region until its destruction in 1906. The castle remains designated as a Cultural Monument of Albania.
