The Southern California Gas Company Complex is a group of historic buildings on Flower Street in Downtown Los Angeles, blending architectural styles from different eras. The main building, completed in 1925, was designed by John and Donald Parkinson in the Renaissance Revival style and originally served as offices for the Southern California Gas Company before later conversion to lofts. A six-story extension at 820 South Flower Street, designed by Robert V. Derrah in 1942, introduces Art Deco elements through its distinctive curved concrete side sections flanking a recessed glass center. The complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 and is recognized as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
