St. Alban's Episcopal Church, located in Eltingville, Staten Island, is a Carpenter Gothic structure designed by Richard Michell Upjohn and completed in 1865. Originally built as the Church of the Holy Comforter on Richmond Avenue, the building was physically divided and relocated to its present site at 76 St. Alban's Place in 1873, where it was reassembled and enlarged. The congregation adopted its current name in 1951 following the merger with the nearby St. Anne's Episcopal Church. The church, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982, houses an 1883 Hook & Hastings pipe organ, believed to be Staten Island's oldest surviving example of the instrument.
