St. Charles Borromeo Church in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a high-quality example of Italian Renaissance Revival architecture completed in 1922. Originally established as a Catholic parish, the church building exemplifies the architectural ambitions of early twentieth-century Catholic communities and marks a significant demographic shift on Waltham's south side, as the neighborhood transitioned from a predominantly Protestant population to one of greater religious and cultural diversity. The structure was recognized for its historic significance and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
