The Robert Murray House stands at 85 Crescent Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, as one of the earliest Italianate Victorian residences in the area. Built around 1859, this 2½-story wood-frame dwelling exemplifies the Italianate and Renaissance Revival styles with characteristic details: a three-bay facade crowned by a small centered cross gable, paired brackets adorning the eaves and gable ends, and a sheltered entry portico featuring fluted Doric columns supporting a dentillated pediment. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
