St Eata's Church stands in the village of Atcham, Shropshire, and represents a significant example of medieval ecclesiastical architecture. Built around 1150, the church combines Norman and English Gothic elements, reflecting the architectural transitions of the mid-twelfth century. As an active Anglican parish church within the diocese of Lichfield, it remains a functioning place of worship whose benefice is now united with that of St Giles-with-Sutton in nearby Shrewsbury. The church's dedication to Eata of Hexham is notably unique. Recognized as a Grade I listed building, St Eata's retains considerable historical and architectural importance within England's heritage.
