St John the Baptist, Hoxton is a Grade II* listed Anglican parish church in the London Borough of Hackney, built in 1825 to the Georgian designs of architect Francis Edwards. Situated one mile north of the City of London on New North Road, the church was established in 1826 as a chapel of ease within Shoreditch parish to accommodate population growth in London's East End, before becoming the parish church of its own ecclesiastical parish in 1830. The benefice later reunited with Christ Church in 1953.
