St Magnus the Martyr, located on Lower Thames Street near The Monument in the City of London, is a Church of England parish church designed by Christopher Wren in the English Baroque style and completed in 1671. Positioned on the south side of the street at the historic crossing point of London Bridge—for centuries the only bridge between the sea and Kingston—the church stands as a Grade I listed building. Its parish was united with that of St Margaret, New Fish Street in 1670, and later with St Michael, Crooked Lane in 1831, though the three parishes retained separate vestries and parish clerks. The church serves as the guild church for both the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers and the Worshipful Company of Plumbers, and its rector holds the distinctive title of "Cardinal Rector," the sole cleric in the Church of England to do so since the abolition of the College of Minor Canons at St Paul's Cathedral in 2016.
