St Mary and St Peter's Church stands in the village of Wilmington in East Sussex, England, at the foot of the South Downs. Originally founded in the late 11th century to serve the rural community, the Norman structure also functioned as a priory church for monks from the adjacent Wilmington Priory, to which it was physically connected. The building underwent significant Victorian-era restoration by the prominent architects Paley and Austin, and later underwent internal renovation following a fire in the early 21st century. Now an active Anglican parish church within the Diocese of Chichester, it is designated Grade I listed for its historical importance.
