St Mary de Haura Church in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, is an Anglican parish church founded at the end of the 11th century. Originally constructed as an ambitious cruciform structure reflecting the port town's medieval significance, it was substantial enough to warrant comparison with a collegiate church. The present building comprises the former east end of that Norman foundation, with substantial 12th-century work surviving throughout. Now Grade I listed by English Heritage, it serves as the town's principal church for major religious and civic occasions, its enduring importance anchored in both its architectural heritage and its role at the heart of the community.
