St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church stands in downtown Jackson, Michigan, as a Byzantine Revival structure completed in 1926. Built of limestone, the church is dedicated to Our Lady, Star of the Sea, and belongs to the Diocese of Lansing. In 2008, it consolidated the congregations of two other local chapels—St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel and the Chapel of Sacred Heart—under its pastoral care.
