St Mildred, Bread Street stood on the east side of Bread Street in the City of London, dedicated to the seventh-century Saint Mildred the Virgin. Of medieval origin, the church was rebuilt in the baroque style by Sir Christopher Wren after its destruction in the Great Fire of London in 1666. It became one of the few City churches to preserve Wren's original fittings into the twentieth century, until the building was destroyed by bombs in 1941.
