Built in 1901 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Starr Manor is a Queen Anne-style residence that exemplifies the exuberant domestic architecture of the turn of the twentieth century. The house showcases characteristic Queen Anne features including textured wall surfaces, a wrap-around porch, a multi-gabled roof, and a circular bay, all enriched with decorative spindles, pendants, and sunburst detailing. Its architectural integrity and scale earned it designation on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The property also encompasses a carriage house constructed around 1910, extending the period composition of this well-preserved estate.
