Sumida Triphony Hall, a concert venue in Sumida, Tokyo, opened in 1997 as the home of the New Japan Philharmonic. Designed by the architectural firm Nikken Sekkei, the hall comprises two auditoria: a main hall seating 1,801 and a smaller hall with 252 seats. The acoustical design was developed by Nagata Acoustics, who refined their approach through a 1:10 scale model before construction.
