Yokohama Arena is a 17,000-capacity indoor venue in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, designed by Takenaka Corporation and opened in 1989. Modeled after Madison Square Garden in New York City, the arena sits a five-minute walk from Shin-Yokohama Station on the JR and Yokohama Municipal Subway lines. As one of the largest concert venues in the Kantō region, it attracts touring artists seeking a finale destination; its spacious stage accommodates elaborate set design and lighting while remaining intimate enough to achieve sellouts more readily than the Tokyo Dome.
