Tokyo Dome is an indoor stadium in Bunkyō, Tokyo, completed in 1988 by the Takenaka Corporation. Designed as a baseball stadium to succeed Korakuen Stadium, it occupies a site where the Tokyo Dome Hotel and adjacent plaza now stand in relation to its predecessor's former location. The facility functions as a multi-purpose sports venue housed within its distinctive dome structure.
