Surp Asdvadzadzin Cathedral in Adana, Turkey, was the Armenian Apostolic cathedral of Cilicia, rebuilt in 1840 at the site of a thirteenth-century Armenian church from the Kingdom of Cilicia. Situated on a hill and known as the "Upper Church," it was expanded into a cathedral in the early 1900s under Archbishop Muşeğ Seropyan and housed the archiepiscopal seat alongside the newly built Aramian high school. The cathedral served Adana's Armenian community until 1922, when deportations during the Armenian genocide led to its conversion into a military depot. After restoration during French rule (1918–1921), the building was confiscated by the Turkish government in 1923 and subsequently repurposed as a cinema and state facility. It was demolished in the 1970s to make way for the Turkish Central Bank's regional headquarters.
