The Sylvester K. Pierce House in Gardner, Massachusetts, is a Second Empire mansion constructed between 1873 and 1875 for a local chair manufacturer. Designed by architect Elbridge Boyden, the residence at 4 West Broadway stands as a prominent local example of the Second Empire style. The house gained recognition beyond its architectural merit through widespread reports of paranormal activity, earning it the alternate name of the Victorian Haunted Mansion. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.
