Built in 1970 in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, the TAP Portugal building is a modernist office structure designed by architect José Pinto da Cunha. Serving as the former headquarters of TAP Portugal (the Portuguese national airline) in the city, the building embodies the modern architectural style characteristic of institutional construction in the late colonial and early post-colonial period in West Africa.
