The TWA Administrative Offices Building is a four-story Modern Movement office structure completed in 1971 for Trans World Airlines in Kansas City, Missouri. Designed by the prominent architectural firms Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Wilson, Morris, Crain & Anderson, the building exemplifies Miesian modernism through its austere rectangular form and refined material palette. Measuring 252 by 396 feet and encompassing approximately 500,000 square feet, it features a steel frame supporting a curtain wall of tinted grey-black glass separated by thin black aluminum muntins and accented with panels of white marble. Constructed between 1968 and 1971, the building was recognized with listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
