The Des Moines Building is a fourteen-story Art Deco and Art Moderne office tower completed in 1930 in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, designed by the local architectural firm Proudfoot, Rawson, Souers & Thomas. Rising 190 feet, it originally served as an office building before falling into disuse. After being declared a public nuisance by the city in 2011, it was purchased and converted into 146 loft apartments, featuring a fitness center, laundry facilities, and rooftop access offering panoramic views of the city. The building is integrated into Des Moines's skywalk system and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
