Located on Brigadeiro Luís Antônio Avenue in São Paulo's República District, Teatro Renault is an Art Deco theatre designed by Francisco Augusto da Silva Rocha that opened in 1929. Originally known as Teatro Paramount and later Teatro Abril, the building suffered a devastating fire in 1969 but was restored and reopened to the public in 2001, preserving its modernist aesthetic from the early twentieth century.
