Located adjacent to Milan's Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, the Tempio della Vittoria is a monumental war memorial chapel completed in 1928 and designed by the collaborative team of Ottavio Cabiati, Alberto Alpago-Novello, Giovanni Muzio, Tomaso Buzzi, and Gio Ponti. Built as a shrine dedicated to the fallen soldiers of Milan, the complex exemplifies the Novecento Italiano architectural style that characterized early twentieth-century Italian modernism. Designated as Italian national heritage, the building stands as a significant example of how Fascist-era architects approached commemorative civic design.
