Temple Beth-El was a Romanian Revival synagogue that served the Upper East Side of Manhattan from 1891 until approximately 1929. Located at 945 Fifth Avenue at 76th Street, the building represented the architectural aspirations of the Reform Jewish congregation that worshipped there. The congregation merged with Congregation Emanu-El of New York in 1927, and the structure itself was demolished in 1947.
