The Bow is a 158,000-square-metre modern skyscraper completed in 2012 in Downtown Calgary, Alberta, designed by Foster and Partners and Eberhard Zeidler. Standing 237.5 metres tall, it was Calgary's tallest building from 2010 to 2016 and remains the city's second-tallest office tower. Originally built as headquarters for oil and gas company Encana, it later served the same function for successors Ovintiv and Cenovus. The building was recognized among the top 10 architectural projects worldwide in 2012 by Azure magazine and is considered a catalyst for redevelopment in Calgary's Downtown East Village.
