The Wellman Building is a historic commercial structure in Jamestown, Chautauqua County, New York, comprising two phases of construction that together exemplify early twentieth-century urban commercial architecture. The original 1897 section is a five-story masonry bearing wall structure clad in Renaissance Revival brick, while a 1910 steel frame addition maintains the same stylistic vocabulary. The building originally served the retail and professional needs of its community, with a druggist and stationery store occupying the ground floor and offices above. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009, it stands as a testament to Jamestown's commercial development during the turn of the century.
