Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond, Virginia, is an Art Deco landmark completed in 1929 and opened in 1930. Designed by architect Charles M. Robinson, the structure is celebrated as his masterpiece—a building that, according to architectural historian Calder Loth, stands as "a celebration of education, a building redolent of civic pride." Now part of the Richmond Public Schools system, the school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a Virginia Historic Landmark in recognition of its architectural and historical significance.
