Located in Grand County within Rocky Mountain National Park, the Timber Creek Campground Comfort Stations comprise three historic public restroom facilities designed by National Park Service landscape architect Howard W. Baker in 1935 and constructed by Civilian Conservation Corps workers in 1939. Built in the National Park Service Rustic style, these structures exemplify the pragmatic yet aesthetically considered approach to park infrastructure that characterized Depression-era public works. The buildings were recognized for their historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
