Built between 1934 and 1939 by the Civilian Conservation Corps and Public Works Administration, the String Lake Comfort Station in Grand Teton National Park exemplifies the National Park Service Rustic style. Originally positioned near the Jenny Lake ranger station, it is one of three similar structures in the park constructed to standard NPS plans during that era. The building was recognized as a historic place when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 23, 1990.
