The Jenny Lake Ranger Station Historic District, located near Jenny Lake in Teton County, Wyoming, served as Grand Teton National Park's principal visitor hub from the 1930s through the 1960s. Built in the National Park Service Rustic style, the district comprises a mix of purpose-built structures and adapted buildings. The ranger station itself originated as a cabin built by Lee Mangus north of Moose around 1925 before being moved and reconstructed for Park Service use circa 1930; both it and the photo shop incorporated materials salvaged from other park buildings. A concessioner-operated store and standardized comfort stations complete the ensemble, all designed according to prevailing NPS aesthetic principles.
