Located in the backcountry of Grand Teton National Park near Moose, Wyoming, the White Grass Ranger Station Historic District comprises a cabin, sheds, and corral built in 1930 in the National Park Service rustic style. Constructed to a standardized NPS plan immediately after the park's establishment in 1929, it represents one of the Service's earliest efforts to establish administrative presence in the park and is the only surviving horse patrol station in the park—structures that supported ranger patrols on horseback. While its exterior preserves the original design, interior modifications over time have diminished its historical integrity. The station sits in a clearing surrounded by vegetation, buffered from a nearby parking lot. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
