The Parish Church of Saint Materiana at Tintagel is a Norman church standing on the cliffs of Cornwall between Trevena and Tintagel Castle. Built around 1050, it occupies a site where a church probably stood as early as the 6th century, founded as a daughter house of Minster. The church is one of only two dedicated to Saint Materiana, whose identity remains uncertain—traditionally identified with Madryn, Princess of Gwent, though some scholars suggest the dedication may instead honor Saint Marcellina, sister of Saint Ambrose. Now a Grade I listed building, the church remains an active parish church in the Diocese of Truro.
