The Tohidkhaneh is a historical Sufi lodge in Isfahan, Iran, located behind the Ālī Qāpū palace and built in the Safavid and Qajar architectural styles. Constructed of adobe, mud, and brick, the building originally served multiple functions: kitchen and prison for the palace, and—most notably—a meeting place where Sufis gathered on Friday evenings during the reign of Abbas I to pray for the Shah, whom some accounts suggest attended these devotional assemblies himself. Today it is incorporated into the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design and remains recognized as part of Iran's national heritage.
