The tomb of Bibi Jawindi, located in Uch Sharif, Punjab, Pakistan, is a 15th-century Islamic shrine built to honor the Sufi saint of the same name, who belonged to the Suhrawardiyyah order. A great-granddaughter of the renowned Sufi saint Jahaniyan Jahangasht, Bibi Jawindi was herself venerated within this strictly Sunni theosophical tradition, which emphasized the Shafi'i school of Islamic jurisprudence. Today the monument stands among five structures in Uch Sharif that hold tentative status on UNESCO's World Heritage Sites list, though it now survives as ruins, offering testimony to the region's rich medieval Sufi heritage.
