Torbjørnskjær Lighthouse stands on a skerry in the Hvaler archipelago municipality of Norway, marking the east side of the Oslofjord entrance, with Færder marking the west. Built in 1872 of granite and 17.9 metres tall, it is fully automated and solar-powered, and service calls are made by helicopter because landing is very difficult. The lighthouse and its surrounding buildings are a recognised cultural property, and their protection as a national park has been proposed.
