The CF Toronto Eaton Centre is a major shopping mall and office complex completed in 1977 in downtown Toronto, Ontario. Named after the historic Eaton's department store chain that anchored it until the chain's closure in the late 1990s, the centre sits atop two subway stations and near Union Station, positioning it as one of North America's busiest shopping destinations when accounting for daily commuter and tourist traffic. By 2014, the complex housed over 230 stores and restaurants, attracting more visitors annually than any other Toronto tourist attraction.
