Torre Mayor is an office skyscraper on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, completed in 2003 on the former site of the Cine Chapultepec. Designed by Toronto firms Zeidler Partnership Architects and Adamson Associates Architects, it was Latin America's tallest building until 2010. Given the city's high propensity for earthquakes, it was engineered to withstand quakes measuring 8.5 on the Richter scale.
