Torre El Pedregal, located in Antiguo Cuscatlán near San Salvador, is a 28-story, 110.3-meter modernist skyscraper designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta and completed in 2010 by Grupo Roble. Upon its completion, it became the tallest building in El Salvador and Central America (apart from Panama). The tower is situated in one of the city's most important commercial zones and forms part of a larger mixed-use development spanning seven blocks, which includes the adjacent Multiplaza shopping mall, office buildings, a five-star hotel, and residential apartments. The project was conceived to create a safe, contemporary urban environment as San Salvador modernizes.
