Tsiranavor Church, a partly ruined 5th-century Armenian structure in Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province, stands at the edge of a gorge and takes its name—meaning "apricot-colored church"—from the warm hue of its tufa stone construction. Built around 500 CE, the church exemplifies early Armenian architectural traditions and survives as a cultural heritage monument, its distinctive stonework and dramatic gorge-side setting testament to the region's enduring Christian heritage.
