Saint Sarkis Church of Ashtarak stands at a dramatic promontory overlooking a gorge in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, positioned opposite the town of Ashtarak. This Armenian architectural monument commands a striking vantage point from which visitors can survey three neighboring churches—Tsiranavor, Spitakavor, and Karmravor—across the landscape. Below the church lies a distinctive bridge constructed in 1664, accessible via a footpath that descends from the church through the gorge and connects to the town below. The church is designated a cultural heritage monument in Armenia.
