Two granite columns rising eight meters tall stand in Charlottenburg Palace Park in Berlin's Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, crowned with bronze statues of Victoria. Designed by the renowned Prussian architects Karl Friedrich Schinkel and Friedrich August Stüler and completed in 1827, these monumental works combine granite shafts with marble and bronze elements. The columns exemplify early 19th-century Prussian neoclassical taste, commemorating through their allegorical sculptures the virtue and aspirations of the era.
