Completed in 1998, the Ufa-Kristallpalast in Dresden is a cinema designed by the Austrian architectural firm Coop Himmelb(l)au in the deconstructivist style. Constructed of concrete and glass, the building exemplifies the fragmented, dynamic forms characteristic of deconstructivism, with its angular geometry and bold material expression marking a striking presence in the urban landscape of Dresden.
