The Ukrainian Government Building stands in central Kyiv on Hrushevsky Street near the Verkhovna Rada, designed by Pavel Wasilievich Abrosimov and Ivan Fomin and completed in 1938. Built in the Stalinist architectural style, it served as the city's tallest structure from 1941 to 1954 and now functions as the administrative headquarters of Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers. Recognized as a local cultural heritage monument of architecture, the building has endured significant challenges in recent history, notably suffering damage from a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle strike on 7 September 2025 during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
